Your future is a journey, not to be rushed or feel anxious about but yours to enjoy while developing new skills and experiencing a new found confidence.

Safe Opportunities are a registered Section 41, Post 16 Specialist Provider. They provide a range of work related learning pathways for young people requiring additional support to develop employability skills.

The organisation was established in 2014 working with just a couple of schools in the Crewe area and are now working with over 30 schools and approximately 300 young people from the age of 14 through to 25 years old, across three programmes.

Over the last 10 years Safe Opportunities have been committed to improving work related learning activities for each student they work with, working with passion and dedication to ensure every student is given the opportunity to develop essential employability skills to be able to move in to paid employment.

Working across Cheshire and surrounding areas,  there is now a strong team of 20 professional, experienced and qualified employees supporting and encouraging young people to move forward and plan for their future careers.

Over the last few years, Safe Opportunities have established the Step16 programme and the ESFA funded Supported Internship programmes for post 16 students across the Cheshire East and Cheshire West.  The post 16 programmes support students with a progression route from the Safe Opportunities schools extended work placement programme.

The post 16 provision supports students to upskill their English and Maths using Functional skills Open Awards qualifications, as well as continuing to develop employability and enterprise skills and also achieve vocational Aim Award qualifications alongside supported work placement opportunities.

The Company Director, Helen Pullan, has a First class Honours Degree in Business and Management alongside a NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.  With over 20 years experience working directly in the industry as a professional trainer, work related learning provider and with previous training and experience in hospitality management, safety training and community enterprises Helen has a range of experiences and resources from which to build effective programmes for the organisation to successfully deliver.

Safe Opportunities are currently awaiting an Ofsted inspection which will be made accessible on the website for anyone to view upon completion.
